Day-to-day property management

Every apartment owner is required by law to register at the Slovak Tax Authority when realizing rental income from property in Slovakia. Those who do not have a company but own the property as private persons must apply for a Tax ID. The tax on rental income is 19%, to be paid annually. Expenses may be offset against the rental income for private persons.
Leverage is a tool whereby a large amount of capital is controlled by a small amount. The idea is to use other people’s money to grow an investment. One way to take equity out of a property which has increased in value is to refinance it after some time, draw a loan using the property as collateral, and use the thus released capital in further investments. We assist in designing the optimal framework for such re-financing to work.
